This is a 40 year old male with HIV infection and diarrhea.  A CT scan of the abdomen showed thickening of the intestinal wall at the terminal ileum and cecum.  Endoscopic examination showed very small lesions of the cecal mucosa.

Biopsy of the terminal ileum was normal.  The images shown here are from the cecal mucosa and taken at 400x (a) and 600x (b, c and d).
