78 years old woman was treated with radiotherapy
in 1994 for bilateral breast cancer. Now
she has developed 3 dermal tumor nodes measuring
10mm, 20mm and 50mm in diameter bulging the
overlaying skin laterally, medial-caudally
and medial-cranially around the nipple. She
had right breast amputation. The tissue
presented here slide was made from the 20mm medio-caudal
node. Macroscopically tissue appears rich
on blood vessels. Immunohistological work up
showed expression of CD34 and Vimentin on solid
and capillary parts of the tissue. The CD31
receptor is detected especially on capillaries
and cavernous parts. There is also positive
factor VIII. In the solid parts there is
low expression of Cytokeratine and smooth muscle
Actin. |
