year-old male with no previous clinical history
or antecedent of trauma, complaining of sternal
pain on the past 5 months. X-rays of the
thorax with no abnormalities. CT scan shows an
intrasternal tumor lesion with rupture of the
cortical bone (Figure a). A tru-cut biopsy
procedure is done obtaining a cylindrical sample
of 1.1 cm. X 0.1 cm. Histological sections
are H&E stained and representative fields are
shown in Figures b - e.
