This is a 57 years old female who at the age of 54 had diagnosis of ductal carcinoma of the right breast. Se had surgery and chemotherapy followed by monthly controls.  In her last control on September 2005, she shows in the other breast (left) radiological images with microcalcifications but with no palpable tumor.  Based on this, the surgeon decided to do a quadrant resection of the breast.

The pathologist's differential diagnosis is Ductal Atypical Hyperplasia vs. Ductal Carcinoma In situ.
